MILF
Fun fact: Ever since I was 5 years old and first saw my friend playing the end of Super Metroid, every now and then I have a nightmare that involves Mother Brain chasing me.
I am so not okay with that.
There are so many things right about this it’s ridiculous.
Awesome Metroid/Star Wars crossover!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Stop calling the new Nintendo console “Wii 2”. Stop calling the next Microsoft console the “Xbox 720”. It’s dumb. You’re dumb. That is all.
Wii Successor and Xbox Sphere are better alternatives.

I won’t be doing this often, posting old stuff, but this blog needs some content quick, so here’s something quick I did a long time ago. It’s about my favourite videogame space saga - Metroid!
Metroid: Other M - The Elephant in the Room
To put it bluntly, Metroid: Other M is a story that consistently portrays an abusive relationship between two of its main characters, and romanticizes it, painting the depicted behavior as justifiable, even laudable. No single moment in the game bears the blame for this (though a couple are problematic on their own); the entire story, taken as a whole, is the problem.
An incredibly well written and thought-out retrospective article about Samus and Adam’s relationship as portrayed in Metrod: Other M. Well worth a read if you’ve played the game, and really worth a read if you’re a long-standing Metroid fan and happened to have missed it.
