ah, it does say Amano did “character artwork” for ffx but that IS different from “design.” you’re right. If Nomura is responsible for FFVII’s designs as well as FFX’s, then, yep, we feel the same way about Nomura. Amano is still in my good books.

Amano has done bits and pieces for every main series FF game (he still does the logos), but in FF7, 8, 10 and 13 the characters were designed by Nomura, who as far as I’m concerned has officially outstayed his welcome in that area. 

Yoshida did character designs for FF Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story, and a bunch of other stuff. I want him back, his character and costume designs are so goooood and he’s a hundred times the artist Nomura is.

Also I’d like Final Fantasy to go back to medieval fantasy stuff instead of cyberpunky sci-fi stuff. This is my list of demands Square WHY AREN’T YOU LISTENING TO ME
